About Superior Future

Superior Future is a 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 2019 by a 21-year-old college student who grew up in multiple low-income communities in Annapolis, MD. Harold Lloyd, the Founder, aspires to bring skills-based educational and recreational programs to all communities suffering from poverty and lack of opportunities. His experiences in government provided low-income housing allowed him to understand that youth who are offered a plethora of resources will thrive and survive the environment in which they were born. Every Superior Future mentor knows that it takes far more than learning job skills, discipline, and being organized to leave public housing behind and obtain secondary education and successful jobs. These are just the basic aspects that our participants must understand during their journey to success.

Since we were founded, we’ve invested over $100,000 back into the community to ensure that underprivileged communities can thrive in a variety of ways. Our programs managed to connect with more than 100 families and 200 youth, but for the connection to last beyond those interactions, we must ensure that we are consistently providing the youth with different programs that will keep them learning new skills and connecting with the community.

President
Harold Lloyd III

Harold Lloyd lll is an alumnus of Frostburg University. I graduated from Frostburg with a degree in Law and Society with a minor in Political Science and Sociology. I am currently a graduate student at Lincoln University where I will obtain my Master’s in Human Services in the fall of 2022. Since middle school, I have volunteered at the homework clubs in HACA recreational centers. I started my own personal fundraiser in the winter of 2017 which raised thousands of dollars and helped me create my own Christmas themed toy drive for kids in local communities that participated in their homework clubs’. In the spring of 2019, I created Superior Future with the help of my family and friends to produce more programs that offer individuals in low-income neighborhoods more opportunities and scholarship.
